IPSF Honors Concert
Each year some 600 of Irvine’s finest school-age musicians are selected at audition to perform before an audience of 1,500 for the 35th Annual Donald Bren Honors Concert. The concert is held at the Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, and is presented by Irvine Public Schools Foundation and Irvine Unified School District with proceeds going to IUSD music programs.
“Don Quixote” ballet at Irvine Barclay
American Ballet Theater’s Marcelo Gomes is a favorite of OC dance fans from his many performances at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. He takes the stage at Irvine Barclay Theater alongside ABT dancer Hee Seo as leads in Festival Ballet Theatre’s performance of “Don Quixote.”
Ride & Run for kids with cancer at IVC
Help raise funds for cancer research and treatment at the Reaching for the Cure bike rides (Saturday, 15-100 miles), runs (Sunday, 5K-Half Marathon) and community events at Irvine Valley College, all benefitting Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
